Talofa and Greetings!
Welcome to the 24th Annual Sisters’ Alumni of the South Pacific (SASP) Scholarship and Anniversary Banquet! We are so pleased to have everyone here to celebrate the accomplishments of our amazing students!
First and foremost, we must give praise to our Heavenly Father for all of the blessings he has bestowed upon us and for guiding us to another successful year.
I especially want to thank all of our Sponsors, families and friends for their continued love, donations and support. Each of you have contributed so much to our program throughout the years. During these difficult economic times, you continue to come out and support our fundraisers, and the sisters of SASP could not have done this work without you. Thank you very much, fa’afetai, fa’afetai tele lava!
Congratulations to our 2010-2011 recipients! As you begin this new journey in your life remember to work hard in school, ask smart questions, and utilize all the resources available to you in your community colleges and universities. You are a unique group of students and we believe with hard work you will “stand out in the crowd” so remember to dream big and enjoy each of your college experiences. Most importantly, stay focused on your goals and remember to ask our Heavenly Father for guidance and support during challenging times. In life, success is achieved through hard work and sacrifices.
Good luck with your studies and all your future endeavors!
The Sisters would also like to thank the parents of our recipients’ for the prayers , wisdom and support they have provided, your children could not have done it without you! May our Heavenly Father continue to bless you as you support your children in their quest for higher education.
Finally, I would like to say how blessed I am to work with a group of such vibrant, positive and dedicated ladies. The time and energies you put into SASP have made this organization great. Thank you members for supporting our fundraising efforts during this difficult economic time. It has been a challenge but our hard work has allowed our students to continue to receive our awards.
